Shortly after initial contact by you, I will respond back to arrange a time to get in touch to have a short telephone consultation so that we can introduce ourselves, I can get a sense of what you’re wanting to explore in counselling, and if it feels suitable, make arrangements for our first session. The first session is about getting to know each other a bit more, exploring in more depth the issues you are struggling with, and determining if we will be a strong therapeutic match. I am trained and experienced in facilitating an environment of safety and trust, and it is important that you feel comfortable when delving into personal aspects of your life.
Each session lasts for 50 minutes, and sessions carry on for as long as you and I both think is helpful for you.
